Josh's Status
Dear Family and Friends,
Those of you who are close know that my brother Josh has been struggling with cancer for many months. Some of you know that the disease became very aggressive recently, attacking many organs (including the brain) and Josh has been hospitalized.
If you did not know this, I am sorry to have to bear these tiding, and more.
While I was visiting Josh last weekend, the amount of pain his tumors caused became so severe that he needed to go on high doses of pain medicine, and between the pain medication and tumors, Josh was mostly unresponsive to communication, though he was aware of who is in the room.
Today, enroute to NYC, I learned that Josh died this morning. I will be meeting with Pat and Pamela and others at Sloan Kettering.
I will let you know about funeral arrangements through this email list.
To provide a way for us to connect with each other around what is going on, and to offer updates on Josh's situation, I've created this website at http://josh.gamefacewebdesign.com .
This site is similar to the one I made for Arthur Ash's 90th birthday, in that everyone can make accounts there, and once you have an account you can post pictures and thoughts, and get notified when other people post things.
To create an account on the site, click "Create new account" from the link at the left.
You'll have to create a username for yourself, enter your email address, and create a password. The checkbox for getting daily notifications when new content is posted will be checked automatically - if you do NOT want email notifications when people put things up, un-check that.
If you have any other questions, please use the CONTACT link above.
